A weaving display and demonstration set up as part of Unravel: The Power & Politics Of Textiles In Art. An upright loom was on display in the gallery retail space, along with tapestries exploring the construction of textiles. Regular demonstrations were run over the course of the exhibition, with visitors invited to ask questions and watch the process in real time. A series of weaving workshops were organised alongside the exhibition, where participants were encouraged to weave tapestries inspired by the Barbican’s iconic architecture.
