A five-day residency run as part of Barbican’s Make! Season of Contemporary Craft. A 50 year old floor loom was moved into the lower level shop space, and a rug was woven, inspired by the Barbican’s iconic architecture and the Yto Barrada exhibition in the Curve gallery. Visitors were invited to ask questions and watch the process in real time. A series of weaving workshops were organised alongside the residency.
