What Is The Weaver’s Apprentice?
The Weaver’s Apprentice is a resource I created to share a behind-the-scenes look at my creative practice as a full-time weaver.
It’s where I share everything from the tapestry techniques I’m using to insights on how I make a living as a weaver- all the discussions I would have with an apprentice in my studio.
How Does It Work?
The Weaver’s Apprentice is hosted on my Substack. Subscribing will also give you access to my weekly Substack newsletter and my monthly long-read, The Business Of Weaving.

About The Artist
I’ve been working full-time as a weaver for over a decade, first in London and now in my studio in Suffolk.
In that time my practice has spanned everything from handwoven rugs to interior design commissions, in-person workshops and online teaching, and selling yarn and weaving supplies alongside my own artwork.
At present, I’m working on several monumental new tapestries for exhibition and eventual sale. And I’m sharing and documenting the process as I go.
